Lucky win, seems like we are carving out a good season playing pants at home but winning. Good trait to have.
Whilst not playing that well, we stuck to the task and ground out a result against a well drilled opposition. Boring to watch for long spells but bodes well for later in the campaign. Today, highlighted a number of positions that need improving in the January window if significant money is made available.
That was so boring especially first half, but we won. Three points are three points. Nice to take the points playing poor. Though Geoff Twentynan got it wrong saying it was a good game. Bristol Boy handled GTs remarks perfectly.
3 points won against Blackburn, 6th place in the table and who knows what is still to come, dire game but we got 3 ponts, compared with this time last year I'm pissing my pants and laughing, thankyou is all I can scream, THANKYOU, THANKYOU and THANKYOU....
I know I'm in the minority but I actually enjoyed the game. I thought it was a good combative game between two organised sides which we edged in the end. Being a goalkeeper I'd take a scrappy one nil win every week. Some people should also realise we're Bristol City and not Barcelona, we can't win and play free flowing attractive footy every week
Dire game but it was nice to get the late goal and 3 points. Took my son for his first game in a long time. Wasn't a good advert but we were in the upper Lansdown today. Great view and was a lot busier than I thought it would be. Bloody awful ref but he was as bad for both sides to be fair. Bought my 12 week old grandson his first football kit after ⚽️⚽️⚽️
We won As long as we keep winning we will edge towards a thriller of an end-of-season. Who cares how we played against bloody Blackbum ?
My sentiments too, but I can imagine the reaction this morning if we had lost to a last minute goal instead
1st half, enough said. 2nd half an improvement especially when Joe came on - important thing we won - how can this ref be allowed to ref?
to me, I took 2 mates up to Bristol - as they said to me, poor game and performance but getting 3 points when you play like that is a good sign I also sat in the Upper Tier - made a nice change I must admit I shed a tear during the Gerry Gow tribute
