Hi All, I've been doing some research into not606 and thought you may find it interesting. Not606 was formed in mid 2009 by Swarbs and -Jordan-, 2 civil partners from Scotland. The civil partnership act had just been passed and whilst watching their heroes Elton John and David Furnish celebrating their marriage live on sky news they thought to themselves that they really wanted to do something for the homosexual community in this time of rejoice. Both Jordan and Swarbs have over 25 years collective experience in the IT idustry and realised that the best, most cost effective way to appeal to a vast audience was to start a faux football related chat room only for gay members. The football element was intended to attract a wide audience and the chatrooms were used to flirt with other men. However, in early 2011 the BBC announced cuts to its online services and bbc.co.uk/606 was one of the first to go. Users of the popular football forum jumped ship on the announcement and not606 saw a huge increase in users. Infact there was a rise in 87% in new users from Feb 2011. Unfortunetly Swarbs and Jordan are no longer a couple but are still friends. It has been rumored that Jordan was fed up with how much Swarbs spoke about his job in Russia. If you require any more information please don't hesitate to contact me. Regards Mr Nice
Just waiting for Nick to confirm if this is true or not? The history of this website could be useful in its own section with all the best moments
Wow, I don't even remember being in the IT industry when aged three. And for the record, I ended the relationship after jordan's 8th boob job. When your tits are larger than your head, you've gone too far...
