    Rules.

    1. On the Monday before the race, one of the F1 moderators will assign random numbers to the twenty-four drivers taking part in the Monaco GP. The numbers will be PM'd to another moderator to ensure complete propriety. The F1 Teams will be split into three tiers: Tier 1 (Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes), Tier 2 (Renault, Sauber, Toro Rosso, Force India), and Tier 3 (Williams, Team Lotus, Virgin Racing, HRT).

    2. Members should choose a unique number from 1 to 24 and post that number on this thread before the start of the first free practice sessions (09:00 on Thursday). If somebody posts your number before you do then tough - you have to choose another number. First choice counts - you can't change it later.

    3. Sometime before qualifying practice the list of numbers, drivers and forum members will be posted on this thread.

    4. The member whose driver qualifies highest in each tier and the member whose driver finishes the race highest in each tier will each get 'I Know The Score' points from one of the moderators. Therefore, there will be three 'successful' qualifying drivers (25 points each) and three 'successful' race drivers (50 points each).

    5. For the next race we will start all over again with new numbers assigned to drivers and picked by members.

    At some point (probably during that loooong summer break) we might go retrospective on this and re-run the first five races that we've missed.

    Do you think the mods should post the list of drivers and their numbers before qualifying or after the race?

    There won't be much excitement if we know who's got Vettel before qualifying.

    Couldn't believe we throw those points away yesterday, I'd have taken 12th at the start of the season though. :)
