A MAN and three women have been arrested following a raid at Hard Labour gym in Latchford and two homes.

The four were locked up following the raids around 7.30am on Friday across Warrington and Sandymoor near Daresbury.

Police seized cash and what is understood to be a large amount of performance enhancing drugs.

Officers went to a house on Epping Drive, Woolston, Partington Square, Sandymoor, and the gym on Grange Avenue.

A police spokesman said: “A 41-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were arrested at the house on Partington Square and two women, aged 45 and 46 were arrested at the business on Grange Avenue.”

Then you'd understand the point I was making, and you'd know a natural athlete can't gain 11 pounds of muscle in 4 months.

What organisation do you compete in, just out of interest?

Depay looked to me in his days at PSV like a guy who'd been working out atleast 6 months, he was pretty solid looking even back then, that's why I don't believe he could gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. That's not me saying he is anywhere near a long term bodybuilders level. I think after 6 months of training you have to eat in a caloric surplus to gain any muscle if your natural. That's knowhere near a bodybuilders level, but at most an intermediate level.

So the views of boffins with 3 inch arms on how quickly you can build muscle holds more weight than guys who've actually done it themselves and no what's possible. My article was on bodybuilding.com, they wouldn't put inaccurate information on the number 1 bodybuilding site. I also know that what he's saying is correct as I've actually spent long periods training in the gym so I have first hand experience of building muscle, and I know it's a slow process.

You also have no clue what you are talking about in regards bodybuilders. Bodybuilders train every single muscle in their body they don't just train the stereotypical poser muscles. They also don't stay lean all year round, they only get lean for a contest, as it's not healthy being that lean all the time. The top bodybuilders are also genetically gifted in terms of packing on muscle, they are probably in the top 1% genetically, so if they struggle to pack on muscle fast then your average sportsman isn't going to be able to either.

Also in terms of bodybuilders sprinting, again you have no clue what your talking about. Hiit Cardio is a big part of a lot of bodybuilders training, which involves sprinting followed by a short rest and then sprinting again. Most bodybuilders prefer to do this rather than usual cardio. They are actually very fit, and if there heart was going to explode, I'm sure it would lifting heavy weights in the 10-15 rep range which is physically exhausting and just as tiring as any sprinting. You try doing Squats or Deadlifts in the 10-15 rep range and then tell me you don't need to be physically fit to do it:biggrin:

It's difficult for me to comment from natural bodybuilders as I am assisted. 5kg would be very difficult especially if muscle gain isn't your primary objective however with a perfect diet, shock to new training methods (more weights I would imagine are done in the PL) then it is possible on a frame as small as his. I don't know depends how gited he is genetically as so much cardio would be detrimental to his 'gains'. As I said hard for me to comment on naturals.

I've competed in UKBFF, NABBA and IBFA. I also promote an annual show with the IBFA.

My god, you're right. Instead of studying stuff we should just ask people at random based on their own experiences. Let's not carry out carefully controlled clinical trials on new drugs, let's just give them to one person and ask them how they feel. As long as they can blog on a number 1 website it's fine.

Gotta feel sorry for SAF, Wenger, Mourinho and all their fitness coaches who wasted years researching the science and getting the qualifications. All they needed to do was lift a few weights and they'd know much much more <doh>

And you're right, I don't know (or care) about bodybuilders. Because that's utterly irrelevant to the topic. We are talking about a footballer, not a bodybuilder. You might as well say no bobybuilder can ever be drug free because you never see a footballer looking so pumped up.

Well done, this has to be one of the dullest arguments I've ever read on this site.. I prefer Stan treble and uir bickering than this inane ****e.

What I think is clear that all you meat heads all have the tiniest penis's.. It is a fact that men who feel the need to be muscle bound idiots have low self esteem due to their child like manhoods.. So therefore try and make themselves feel better by getting muscles.

I know this as it was reported by the institute of studies. Also by looking at cocks while at the urinal.. <ok>

Fair enough, I only asked what organisation you competed in to get an idea if you where assisted or not. Surely though when you first started lifting you where natural, so you'd have an idea.

I myself have never taken anything, as I just do it to keep fit and because I enjoy the training. You have to be on something to compete at a high level in either weight lifting or bodybuilding though.

That's what they do half the time anyways they test drugs on animals and then they test them on humans, you can earn a lot of money for being one of the first Guinea Pigs to try a new drug. As there's only so much you can know from doing scientific research, you don't know anything for sure until you try it.

That's why I'd be far more likely to listen to someone who's actually built up a lot of muscle themselves, than a boffin who's done scientific study's but hasn't actually trained himself.

Like I say go ask any experienced natural bodybuilder how fast you can build muscle and they'll all agree with me. Better still go to your Supermatket and actually pick up 5kg of meat, and you'll see how much it actually is. There's no way you are building that in a few months

That is harsh.. What can be more interesting than knowing what everyone is eating or indeed planning to eat.. We even once had an argument as to whether lunch was in fact dinner.

Sounds like a great idea. Next time I want to know how effective a drug is, I won't ask the scientists who tested it, I'll ask the monkey they tested it on <applause>

Ah, but have you looked at enough cocks to build up a statistically valid sample?

Based on my own research of looking at my own cock, I've concluded they are all two inches long and it's not possible for any to be any different without illegal drugs <ok>

This is wrong. I know it is because I am someone who has eaten a lot of food and read a blog by someone else who has also eaten a lot of food.

In all fairness it has to go down as the longest running bicker ever on the site. The first instance must have lasted at least a month..

Aye, it blasted past the pavement / footpath / footway barney that Ruff got a big narked about a whilst back.

I just thought the site needed a new mind numbingly tedious argument to keep things fresh <ok>
