I was always quite scared of said scarecrows when I was a lad, this thread is showing that I may have had good reason to be afraid.
And Chelsea when they bought torres. No need to mention Barcelona. We all know http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-fcs-raheem-sterling---3324596 Why do all your best players support United?
Haha dumass, that has already been said, that is what I was replying to Can't you read 3 or 4 consecutive posts no? Nothing has changed since 2011 so, you couldn't then and can't now.
You're confused again. Did you seek help for your meltdown? Better note it down in your dossier you absolute freak
I do not understanding the hype around Rahem Sterling at all. He is an ok player. A million miles from being top class. Vastly overrated.
Buying Stirling will never happen. 1. 50 mill is way over the top. Most likely conclusion is that he will move to ££ity or Chelksi, and get 5 games per season, a few more on the bench occasionally playing the last 15 mins as a sub, finally ending up after 2 years going to a Championship side on loan, and then sold of for 5 mill. 2. Why would United want him? Over rated and too expensive, and IF, and that's one mighty IF, United did want him, the deal would never ever happen. United and Liverpool just don't do business over players. End of story
Would be surprised if we paid more than £25 million for him, if we were in for him at all. Tbh I think he could be a decent long term replacement for Ashley Young unless Januzaj can kick on. It's a lot to risk on an unproven youngster, but then that's what the big clubs have to do nowadays - he could be a Garcia, Rodwell, Kalou, Anderson, Bentley etc, but then he could be a Rooney or Hazard in the long run. He's a way behind where those two were of course, but then you never know how well a player will kick on, or not, when they step up to a bigger club. Tho' if he leaves I doubt there's any chance he'll come to us. Liverpool won't dare sell their best player to Utd, particularly not when they've collapsed so badly this season and been doubled by us. And if they were to sell in England then City or Chelsea would almost certainly be willing to pay more than us, give how much difficulty they currently have meeting the homegrown rules and the threat to tighten those rules in future.
Isn't Depay around £20-25m? Spending the same amount on Sterling wouldn't be stupid, given the premium we'd pay for an English player and to prise him away from Liverpool. Would be surprising if we bought both of them at once, unless Di Maria really is leaving in summer.
