As long as we have Arteta, it does not matter who we sign, doubt it will make a difference! With that guy at the helm, we could sign Messi and Ronaldo in their prime...

Decent signing and a lad with real talent. We're a team in transition so there's a lot more that needs to happen around him to be able to get the best out of his capabilities, but he a quality player. One of the Scousers was asking why we'd bothered signing him when we have ESR. But they can both play together and switch between the left and right. I think they'll compliment each other in there.

Pardon my ignorance, does this signing then means the end of the quest to sign a creative midfielder. I have seen some fans refer to him as a little Ozil. I thought, a key area was creativity, if Martin fills that gap then fine by me, however I don't think he is that creativity spark we are missing. Then again what is even a creative midfielder these days, how many do we have in the top teams, e.g. does Liverpool, Chelsea have one?

I think we need a destructive CM to break up and stop the opposing team and win us the ball back - like a modern day Gilberto

I thought this was Partey? He is the box to box midfielder we have been looking for, no?

Agreed..however between Partey and Tierney, potentially our two most influential players they are both super injury prone...typical Arsenal! :(

Partey and Tierney have had injuries, but they are quality players. Tierney has been brilliant for us so far. These are the levels of players we need in the team imo.

Along with ESM and Saka these players are the heartbeat of Arsenal right now.

How Good is Ødegaard looking now!

None of us were quite sure last Season but this Season he's just gotten better and better.

Only just turned 23 the guy looks like an absolute steal for £30m.

    Yeah, agreed.

It took him a few games to get up to speed to begin with, but he's been absolutely superb this season. Great technician, can open up defences, links up well with Saka on the right-hand side, knits everything together between midfield/attack and is adding goals to his game.

He's slotted into our midfield like a glove and he's only recently turned 23. Got plenty of time ahead to improve further.

    Top player <ok>

Yeah he’s quality. Reminds me a bit of Freddie Ljungberg. And the fact that he’s slotted right into this team and looks like he loves being here all bodes really well.
