Whoever controls the weather could you please let us now have some uninterupted weather as surely we have had our annual rain for the year or are you leaving the good weather for two weeks of Olympics!!!!!!!

It did for Sussex's chances of an unbeaten season.

We had Slurrey on toast at 104, for no wicket off 9 overs, probably would have got towards 250, when it rained and they get a DL of 62 off 5!

    Shameful.

How good or gash, gash more likely, has Harbhajan been since joining Essex?

Will start another thread for next season!

Feelings for 2012 well my county side Glamorgan had a torrid start but recovered to get a reasonable finish in the championship! Weather appalling and the death of Tom Maynard will be the holding memory! In saying that I got a ticket for the CB 40 final and what a match to finish the season off at least sent me off for the winter with a smile on what was a dreadful summer!

looks like a very quiet board, but who knows, maybe it will come to life.

For my county, Yorkshire, it was a pretty good year. Unbeaten in Div 2 and only denied the title by the weather. Finalists in the pub league, aka the T20 and despite being understrength we were not embarrassed in the CLT20. Can't decide if I like the signing of Brooks and Plunkett for next year. The days when you could field a team that actually represented the place the team was named after are fading fast.
