Doubt it, Syd'll be just marshalling his resources for a comeback, bank on it.
And which still happens.
Some people do like to post with an air of absolute authority, and of course that means that some believe them and the myth of ITK grows.
Even though they actually have no greater knowledge than you or me, ie **** All except what we read in the (often made up) press.
Which is what I've been saying all along.
I must have some "inside Knowledge" me. I am the new Messiah.
This was exactly my point, the wage bill was over £55m and with promotion will be back up to that level again, as we've only lost two players. My point about the wages, was simply that it's not just 25 players, it's a total for over 200 staff.
For the record, Huddlestone's our best paid player.
It was an assumption/approximation as you register 25 players who I assumed were the top earners and the wages of the other employees were fairly insignificant or covered by some of the 25 who were not top earners. However I accept that Plum's figures (from HDM) are probably accurate
Hayden just signed a 5 year deal with Newcastle according to sky
Is he any good, we continue to sign players i dont know much about. Obviously aware of Gale and Ritchie, but no real knowledge of Hayden?
Has the potential to become a very good player and with you giving him a 5yr deal your manager appear to think the same, all the best for the coming season.
At Championship level he will do a good job for you. And he's young, so will have a decent sell on price.
He didn't get as much game time for us as he should have done, he's a tidy player.
Note to Steve Bruce if theres something in the paper talk...
Beram Kayal is not a striker.
Steve Bruce has just confirmed we are trying to sign Hal Robson-Kanu and Bordeaux defender Lamine Sane.
I'm happy with Robson-Kanu if he's 3rd choice behind Hernandez and another new striker. Sane looks like a good player with a bit of a temper
Are Reading really that stupid they'd release a Premier League quality striker?
He ran his contract down....but I doubt they'd release a PL quality striker if they had one.
Agree, yes he's had a good euro but when a mid table championship team releases him you have wonder if its just a flash in the pan.
Without Reading to much Into It, He Is After All a Bit O Rare Welshbit.
He's got lots of potential. He'll show more application in midfield than most of your other 'stars'.
Out of Akpom and Hayden - if we had the chance to sign anyone this season I'd have signed Hayden. A good acquisition for a Championship club with aspirations of promotion. Game time will help him to be ready for the PL should you be promoted at the end of this season.
Genuine transfer activity after 102 pages? I feel quite emotional.
