Robson-Kanu looked decent in the Euro's. He looked quick, aggressive - scored goal of the tournament for me against a decent Belgian side. Other than wages it's a low risk no transfer fee signing if we manage to sign him. If it means having another dollop of cash to sign another decent striker - I'm happy with that.

Send Diomande out on loan somewhere in the Championship until Christmas and see what he can do?

Don't know much about Sane but read a few bits that make him sound decent.

Robson-kanu is a grafter and can play a bit, as others have said he would be ok as a back up but do need another quality striker in.

HDM have us in for Brighton kayal , another decent player on the cheap, aggressive, gets around the pitch and can ping a ball.

Starting to take shape a bit now

Bruce admitting what most of us know, that 18m will see us uncompetitive. Guess he's a bed-wetter too!

He'll need to spend 6 on a keeper.... I'd be on the phone to Shay Given pronto... apparently he's available and might just see us through as I can't see a way back for Gregor..

I'd be happy to take Speroni, he'd come cheap and could do a job for 6 months.

Robson-Kanu ran down his contract to get himself a better move beyond Reading.

What on earth do we need another keeper for? We have 3.

Agreed, although his former Celtic team mate and compatriot Nir Biton would be better. Although probably a few million more.

I suspect McGregor's injury will push Brucey into going for a third. We only have two fit senior keepers.

Why would Brighton let Kayal go?

He's one of their highest earners and apparently he's ready to leave. He can also leave for nothing next season, hence why they want to get something for him now.

Goal of the tournament against a Belgian missing two defenders, one injured and one suspended. He wouldn't have scored if they were both playing and Wales wouldn't have scored the first either.

Kayal's a good player. Definitely one of the best performing midfielders in the Championship.

They still had Aldweireld (Spurs) and Denayer (Man City) at centre half and Nainggolan (Roma) one of the best defensive midfielders around <laugh><laugh><laugh>

So yeah, goal of the tournament.

Back with the 'keeper situation, I said on Twitter earlier about I think we should look at Vorm from Spurs.
I've got a friend who's Spurs through and through, he reckons Vorm would be available. He was only playing Europa and Cup games last season. Lloris wants to play Champions League and from what I've been told Poch rates their 3rd choice keeper Tom McGee and could be put in for the early stages of the cups.
So from by the sounds of it Vorm is available. But failing him can only realistically think of Speroni otherwise I'd be looking abroad.
