pleased with the addition of Dan Scarr. He looks quite a formidable presence, certainly in the photo pictured next to Ainsworth. We defo need some solidity at the back. As Phil says above the most disappointing thing is the lack of a loan keeper. Reading a few articles it seems we were in for a couple, but nothing came to fruition. Lets hope Brown steps up to the plate!
So that's it folks: Nathan Tyson on a one-year contract Craig Mackail-Smith on a one-year contract Jack Williams on loan from QPR until end year 2017 Josh Umerah on loan from Charlton until Jan 15th 2018 Eberechi Eze on loan from QPR until Jan 2nd 2018 Dan Scar on loan from Birmingham until Jan 1st 2018
With the signing of Dan Scar has Ainsworth & the club been watching him since the game against Stourbridge
FFS! Can't believe we brought no keeper in We can only hope Brown gets injured again and we'll be allowed to bfring in an emergency keeper like last season. No chance of doing anything special this season mid table at best. Every opposition manager will tell his players to shoot on sight with the clown we have in goal.
He was looking mowgli but when I told him you were preparing for a comeback I think a GK dropped down his priority list. Sorry about that.
Looking forward to seeing you between the sticks today Mowgli, or at least on the bench. I heard you signed on a "free pie and bovril at half time" deal.
If fully fit and including the new loan signings what would be your best 11 and where do we need improvement. Brown Harriman Stewart El Abd. JJ O'Nien Gape SSS CMS Beast PCH Jury still out on Brown and El Abd. I could easily have put Kashket or Tyson in up front, and Blooms is always capable in midfield. Loan signings don't get a look in but nice to have competition for places. Any thoughts?
As you say the loan signings don't get a look in which is a bit like the guy from Watford at the end of last season, unless Ainsworth is looking to buy in the future
