When I said none of them had won a Superbowl in my lifetime as a fan, I was referring to the 49ers and the Bengals, the two teams I wanted to win in the championship games. Apologies for the confusion. Would be cool to be 6 though! Was a good game. Lots of big plays on both sides though I was happy with the ultimate result. Was good viewing as a neutral. Half time show was okay but nothing special. Even though Rhianna is pregnant, it could have had more... Excitement to it
Was a good game, thought it was over for the chiefs when Mahomes hobbled off. Not sure how that defensive TD was disallowed, though, didn't look like an incomplete pass to me.
Interesting times. Our defence is a bit old (Harrison Smith, Za'Darius Smith, Patrick Peterson, Dalvin Tomlinson, etc) and we have only four draft picks and we're over the salary cap so we're gonna have to make some moves. One intriguing prospect is do we keep Dalvin Cook? He had been good in the past though tended to get injured, but last season he wasn't fantastic. His stats were inflated by a couple of long runs (e.g. against Miami) but our run game was for the most part limited, often getting tackled for just one yard and fairly regularly behind the line of scrimmage.
Yeah a long way back for Saints . I think Patriots have 8 picks and decent Cap space . Should be a good east division . Lions could be a decent team next season I see them in the play offs .
Needs to be a rebuild year, but they will call it a competitive rebuild and hope we fluke our way to another playoff game like this season. Only having 4 picks in the draft is a big problem but the likes of Kendricks, Cook, both Smiths and Thielen need to go this off season. Their cap numbers are just too big and I doubt they’ll get anything for any of them in way of trades so they’ll just be cut. That will free up some room to pay Jefferson if he wants to stay (unlikely) or get in a couple of free agents and start looking towards the 2025 season
