Good news indeed. Xhemajli will be like having a new signing next season.

Got to make sure Wright is fine. We've seen enough instances of when people have come back from injury and done their hamstring or picked up some other muscle strain.
We've managed well without him, but we need him for the last 5 games, so I hope he is eased in during the next couple of games.

xhemajli 'a long way off' still, how longs his contract? I'd hate to think he becomes another player we nursed back to fitness for another club to reap the benefit.

I'm not sure if he's got another year mate, but I don't think LJ would have given him a mention if he wasn't going to feature in a Sunderland shirt again.

im sure his wages have been covered by his own FA, with being injured on international duty, so hopefully we can afford to extend for another year, assuming he's back to normal soon.

I think his contract is up in the summer. Such a pity what happened as he was starting to look like a very good acquisition. Hope he can get it back fir us

Definitely looked a decent player. I'd be very surprised if he wasn't retained (presuming he doesn't want to move).

that's good to know they should be paying at least a years contract fee to us, seems like fifa demand attendance for internationals but don't like to pay so much when a player is injured for their internationals

Is Wright fit for tonight? Can’t see Johnson starting him regardless which is probably wise after a long lay off, however we need to think about getting him back into the defence ASAP alongside Dion because the back four have been a shambles lately.

On the bench would be my guess, maybe some minutes depending how the game is going.

This for Me. Gooch is ****e unless he plays as a wing back. Hume can’t defend but is great going forward. Seems the best fit, and put Power in midfield.

you know mate life on this board would be a lot better for you if you consider just taking a step back and reading before writing Gooch is ****e,thoes comments will get a lot of posters backs up , if you give consider practical reason for having those thoughts like you have with Hume you would get a lot more positive replies to your posts, You seem like a nice lad however a lot of our posters are older and dont like those words used on a players they like, I don't want to come across a contra ascending just friendly words of advice as i see you have a few poster already not liking you
