    Wow DL that was strong.

Conte may not have the flavor or guile. But he is one hard working manager.

Unfortunately he doesn't look happy just like Jose did in 2015.

It is a travesty that he gets paid 3rd or 4th best salary when he finished first.

I would be just like him. Will down my tools and move on to better positions. That is exactly what he is doing with benching better CBs and starting Cescy.

    End is near.

Thats a bit strong. He absolutely smashed it last year with what i regard as a team that wasnt as strong as citys or uniteds. Lost his way a little this one.

After Goons defeat last season, Cescy couldn't get nowhere near our 1st team for atleast 10 games or 3 months.

    Where is that Conte?

This has proven time and again, that we are a different team without Cescy in there. I know we may miss Matic still.
But we won't be THIS awful without Cescy and playing with 11 players for a change.

Come on Tony, I want you to stay. Don't quit on us by playing Cescy!!

OR........... choose the right games to start Fabregas and which to put him on the bench. We pay him far too much money and he does have something to offer but starting all the time is madness. He really should have been moved on, but since we are stuck with him for Gods sake use him properly. That much I agree with Stan.

To be fair, with Kante and Drinkwater injured and Bakayoko still finding his feet, we didn't exactly have lots of options in the middle so I can see why Cesc started. Cant just blame 1 or 2, that was a bad TEAM performance.

Just picking on 1 or 2 allows others to get away with bad performances.

Other than Fergie and Jose, no one has won back to back titles. This is a highly competitive league and we were always going to find it tough. I'm happy to win it every other year ;)

It's actually not that hard. We can stick luiz or willian there. It really is that simple

No idea why pedro isnt playing either. We need some runners and a bit of pace to stretch the game

Neither are central midfielders though. Is Fabregas THAT bad that we're putting round pegs in square holes? And Willian's recent form in his actual position has hardly been great.

Conte did mention Luiz as DM who will be perfect for DM and we have 2 better CBs yet he goes out with that selection is awful.

Luiz isnt a proper midfielder agree but he does a job in cm/dm. Would also allow christensen to slot in.

Fab cannot play in a 2. Bakayoko cant defend the whole of midfield by himself.

As for willian ive never thought he was that effective as a winger in our system. His strenth is getting on the ball and driving at people and playing passes. He drops too deep to be a great inside forward and he hardly ever stretches the defence.

Hes just a far better all rounder than cesc.

Also didnt he play as a cm for shakhtar and he also plays in that midfield 3 for brazil too?

Exactly, Will can be a great box to box runner.

    Square pegs round hole? Moses?

Luiz, Will are more round than Moses was ever as a RWB to fill CM/DM round hole.

Should build his team around Fabregas, go back to basics imo.

Hi sky. Nice to have you back.

At Chelsea here we like to build champions than just pretty but aimless football.

If we want to go build as per klopps basics we will get back to you
