    Frank Saul. Signed in January 1968 from Spurs in part exchange for Martin Chivers. Disappointing at first, but it enabled Ted Bates to recruit to sign two battle hardened Scots in the shape of Jimmy Gabriel and Hughie Fisher, and helped to push Saints much higher in the table.
