A place to discuss the Academy talent (U18s, U23s etc) and their activities/progress in the coming season.
As mentioned in the transfer thread, there's a rumour going around the ITK Twitter feeds that Reo Griffiths' contract has been terminated due to him posting a video to his Instagram of him smoking a joint and/or huffing something from a baloon - this has led to another rumour on the ITK feeds that he's set to join Lyon, as he's been spotted on their training ground Then again, it's probably worth pointing out that our youngsters are currently in France for an U21 tournament, so if that explains the second one we can now turn our attention to how the ITKs can't seem to agree what his infraction was
Our U19s played their opening game in the Obendorf tournament this afternoon, beating Freiberg 1-0 thanks to a goal from Armando "The Lesser" Shashoua De Bie; Tainio, Hinds, White, Walcott, Lyons-Foster, Markanday (Pochettino 49), Duncan, Parrott (Mukendi 50), A Shashoua (Roles 45), Bennett
Some of our academy games have been confirmed: https://www.stevenagefc.com/news/20...ures-lamex-stadium-wolfsburg-athletic-bilbao/
It was all a bit Ossie Ardiles for our U18s today as they came from 3-1 down to beat Brighton 6-4, with goals from Luis Binks, a Troy Parrott brace, Paris Maghoma, Brooklyn Lyons-Foster and J'Neil Bennett all scoring Weirdly, Binks' goal was an almost exact duplicate of Verts' against Newcastle - while Maghoma and Bennett both scored worldies https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2018/august/under-18s-score-six-against-seagulls/
Somebody with absolutely no ****ing clue writes... No academy? Where the **** does he think Kane, Winks, KWP, Amos and Skipp came from? Did somebody leave them on Poch's doorstep one morning??? Cthulhu wept...
The day I learned NewsNow had the option to mute sources was a happy one ...although I doubt he or his mindless drones have a clue what happiness or joy look like.
I just don't read any of his drivel anymore it's pointless waffle and never says anything that makes sense
The more digging I do, the more his whole operation looks uncannily like Britain First: everything that ever goes wrong with the club is always pinned on a minority, the most psychotic responses (which, naturally, agree with him) are showered with approval, any form of dissent is purged from the comments section as if it was never there, and anyone from the club who disagrees with his outlook is an "appeaser" or "traitor"
That's why I like this site everyone has their opinions sometimes we agree sometimes we don't but we don't all follow one person like fecking sheep and get castigated if he don't like it.
IIRC Sterling was injured pre-season ...and it started well, with Eyoma getting a straight red for handball after just three minutes - although they missed the subsequent penalty
Another day, another offside Saltypool goal... ...followed by Spurs once again demonstrating what an onside goal looks like...
