We got lucky with that one!
Holy with a clearance from the edge of our box that hits our defender and then almost gets played into an empty net.

 

I must go up to PR and give Holy a lesson on goalie distribution!

 

Sears is playing more as a striker than Judge is, I can't figure out why anyone would think it would be better to play Judge in the middle instead of Sears. Freddie is doing the striker type things, closing down and pressing the ball and using energy on lost causes. Judge is doing Judge type things, never in his position and not applying pressure to the Stanley back line.

Well that was a poor first half.

I don't think there is one person on here that thinks playing Judge as a central striker is a good idea. It has not worked at all. We can't retain possession and the ball keeps coming back at us. Judge is all over the place, as always and if I was Sears I'd be pretty pissed that I still can't get a chance to play in the middle.
We miss Hawkins today and I made my score prediction before I realised Lambert had made a huge mistake in his team selection. I can't see us scoring today unless Edwards or Bishop can conjure something from nothing.

I'm not happy with Lambert for playing Judge as a striker.

 

Looks like Sears is playing in the middle now. He'll at least try and keep the CBs busy

 

We could score now, Edwards on the left, Judge on the right, much better balance.

 

Long list of injuries beginning to tell, need much better 2nd half, more energy, more effort. If Accies score 1st, they will win this.
