Win at home, draw away = 4 out of 6 points, is the way to go. If we average 2 points per game, we'll be there or thereabouts. No need for decimal places just DWDWDWDWDWDWDWDWDWDWDWDWDW
Not going to win every game but down here teams are definitely hungry. Don’t turn up and fans naturally ask...are we consistently good enough up front and do we possess the defensive prowess to keep a clean sheet when it’s needed most? Suppose we’ll find out come May.
Are we feeding them too well? Thinking about it, I could never play after a good meal. Timing i.....s every thing.
That's the concern for me, there's not many teams who are that good they go through a season just blowing everyone away. Teams who get promotion are usually those who are capable of grinding out 1-0 wins or a point when playing badly. He doesn't seem to have a clue how to do that. It was evident last season and I'm afraid likely to cost us again this.
Thought we'd got rid of the puffs after relegation, but seems we still have that streak in us which means we get outbattled too often. Horses for courses, and League 1 is for workhorses not thoroughbreds.
So feed them on oats and hay and carrots, but not too much and not for a few hours ahead of kick off. We're gonna crack this together.
gordon h bennett! that's one highly embarrassing result for man utd. maguire did the old scoring-against-a-previous club trick.
There's a fair few people going way OTT and completely lacking perspective. From 3 tricky games, 6 points is very good, I'd have taken 4 in all honesty beforehand and I'm sure many/most would have too. Yes, it was a frustrating game and despite playing poorly, could have been so different. Was Magennis offside? Wilks should have scored to equalise, although the pitch did bobble. It's not the end of the world and we go into a much nicer run of fixtures now
Puts our moaning about getting done by AS in perspective! Are we looking at another great escape a la Leicester 2015?
Magennis was offside. In fact, in the build you can see he was once again STOOD a good yard off side. I emphasise STOOD as that is exactly what he was doing, just stood there motionless behind their CB's. Compare and contrast with the movement, fluidity and pace that we saw from the front 3 in the previous 2 matches. Yes, it was a neat finish, but worthless when offside. His inclusion changed the way we played, and that was McCann's decision. Late on we tried to chase the game and had them on the back foot, but too late, they just had to ride it out which they did quite well.
I've noticed that about Magennis, he does do that. He doesnt seem to even consider the offside rule at all
He may have been hoping to do something like this. Man City's heavily debated goal vs Aston Villa leads to Premier League offside rule change - Manchester Evening News A rule change has been introduced to the Premier League on the back of a controversial goal scored by Manchester City. Bernardo Silva's goal for City against Aston Villa earlier this month caused a stir after Rodri, who was in an offside position, tackled Tyrone Mings to play in the Portuguese forward who then scored.
What's the mode, median, and mean? It's a while since I had to work that out. Then theres the cusum and the cuartiles.
I might have spelt that wrong. I was going to check. But couldn't be bothered and thought someone would get it right.
