Just seen the news on the BBC site that Adebayor has gone to Real Madrid on loan for the rest of the season. I know he has already gone but would you have taken him?

I know there would be concerns about the amount of money he is on but Man Citeh are that rich we could have put in a cheeky loan offer of paying 50k/week until the end of the season.

He hasn't really had a look in at Citeh but I think he is a great player and just wants to play football (on a stupidly high wage)

No because it would take him a few games to get match fit and his match sharpness,

Also i think that even at 50k a week thats too much for him

Finally hes looked to be carrying a few spare tyres this season so i imagine he is a bit lazy in training and could harm our great team spirit

Definitely, hes a very over rated player but still has more about him than any of our lot barring Carroll of course, we could have sold Shola to Brum to pay the wages too ;)

Seems to have caused problems in the dressing room at city and wouldn't want him doing that here.

Real were shocked at how much he earns, so it was a stumbling block in the deal but it seems the Spanish Government has come up with the cash for them again.

    Real-ly?
That's ridiculous that - no the wonder Barca and the rest of the Spanish League hate them!
Although I've heard that there's been problems before with small businesses not being able to collect their debts from them due to the sheer power the club wields so don't know why I'm so surprised!
