It's only a matter of time before the UK follow the rest of Europe and put us all into self isolation. Probably about 5 past horse has bolted tbf.

Anyhoo Aldo has decided to post a thread with suggestions of how the good people of GC can while away the hours of solitude and boredom that doesn't involve counting your massive amounts of emergency packets of pasta and big roll or excessive masturbation.

All you will need for these suggestions are internet access and the where with all to be able to download them or stream them on personal devices such as phones, tablets, laptops etc. They can all be accessed free of charge at various internet outlets (see Eddy for details) or on mug PPV streaming sites like Amazon and Netflix.

Feel free to add any suggestions yourself. Keep the depravity to a respectable level though eh.

For those who can read can I recommend the First Law series of books by Joe Abercrombie. Very entertaining. A heady mixture of sex, violence and intrigue. If you liked Song of ice and fire you will love these books.

Just finished a book called The last days of Jack Sparks. Excellent modern horror fair with loads of excellent dialogue. Very very funny.

TV series on Amazon that are worth a watch...

Outlander. Lots of kilts and hunky highlanders and gratuitous sex. Good story as well.

Firefly. Classic Sci-fi that spawned the movie Serenity.

The Boys. Excellent superhero series with a twist

Vikings. Would be surprised if anybody hasn't seen this but this is top notch telly.

Treadstone. Good newish series based in Bourne universe.

Carnival row. Fantasy thriller. Great cast, good story

Jack Ryan. CIA shenanigans. Pretty good opening series. Series 2 not so good.

Mr Robot. ****ed up paranoid show. First series is excellent. Kind if loses it's way after that.

The only one I'd watch assuming you mean a history documentary and not some crappy historical drama.

Telly dramas and comedies with plenty of series I recommend:

    Minder
    Lovejoy
    Auf Wiedersehen Pet
    One Foot In The Grave
    Cheers
    Frasier
    The Twilight Zone

    All need no introduction.

Or you could take up a hobby:

Metal Detecting - fresh air, no contact with anyone at all
Painting - become an artist and spend your time creatively whilst stuck indoors

    South Park
    Last Man on Earth
    Hap and Leonard
    Community
    Braindead
    The Tick
    Futurama

    ^^^^All very watchable shows

    All very old shows.

Apart from Hunters which becomes very tedious very quick.

So? Half of yours were old shows. The new ones you put on there were pish apart from The Boys, but every **** has seen it by now.

Of course you did Aldo <doh>

How would they ever have found it? It's not as if it wasn't the main ****ing banner in Prime for like 2 months. Which is how you found it <doh>

    Oh ho Toby strop!

I don't have Amazon prime wee fella. So couldn't say if it was the main fùcking banner or not.

Why do you always get so stressed. Self isolation will be a bugger for you I bet. You'll end up topping yourself.

I went out to Barnardo's this morning and bought some jigsaw puzzles. I also have a couple of Airfix models to assemble. Throw in a bit of mild gardening, and I'm pretty much sorted for things to do.
