Not sure you can condemn people not taking this seriously on one thread and condone matches with a few thousand closely packed spectators in another.
What? Where I have condemned people not taking this seriously? Do you mean the comments about kids? I wasn’t condemning them, just noting their behaviour.
Ah, sorry, came across that way. I was out the other night. It was far busier than I expected but not sure now if I’d have gone to our game today. Probably still would have.
Fair enough. It was quiet in Brum last night, but then again I’m not usually out there on a Friday night so I have nothing to compare it to. Can’t recall hearing a single cough whilst out and about and in a large, pretty full theatre though, and like everyone else I’m hypersensitive to this noise now.
The government is saying that cancelling events and matches would have little or no effect on slowing the spread of the virus. The suggestion is that the benefit would come from freeing up emergency services. I get that with the ambulance service, but wonder how the police would be otherwise employed in the fight against the virus.
Put them in the supermarkets limiting the no. of toilet rolls and hand gel being taken by selfish ***s.
Keeping order at supermarkets. And apparently from next week arresting people who aren’t self isolating effectively.
