I see some are still clinging onto the edge of the good ship Allam whilst it's sinking in the icy waters.
You can see that can you? Everyone can see a fair amount of piss taking at the fawning that's been kept quiet from us. A lot of laughs about us being like Barcelona. Spasms of pain due to laughing over thoughts of mobilizing the troops against the council. Some truly hilarious defence of that behavior. Lots of discussions about how HCC/Dr Allam acted/said stuff/didn't say stuff in regards to the ownership of the KC and surrounding land. Care to share where you're seeing anyone clinging on to the good Dr other than from the attendees at the meeting?
It sounds more like people trying to get one over on each other to me. And as much as I think Steven Brady is a poor figurehead for our council having any trust in Allam disappeared 4 years ago for me. See it as you wish but I see it as personal egos and tussles.
OLM gives a good summary on this thread https://www.not606.com/threads/councillor-geraghty-hullcc-gov-uk.89960/page-5
Brilliant. PLT in not trusting HCC shocker and calling councillors names. All these about faces are making me dizzy.
Is the timescale correct . We did play Reading at the start of the 11/12 season , but the name change official proposal came in autumn 2013 and think Mooney wasn't at the club in 2011 .
I've always thought that AA thinking our name is Hull City Tigers is down to when he bought the club and signed any papers to do with the purchase . Isn't our name listed as Hull City ( tigers ) ltd with companies house . When AA buys the club the lawyers talk to him about Hull City Tigers and confusion reigns .But I could be wrong .
I know! Brilliant aint it? There was me thinking they were all holier than thou. Maybe you should stop fawning over them. It's a little embarrassing tbh.
Why are some people so obsessed with long standing rivalries with other posters on here than they are with the actual subjects being discussed? It doesn't make for good debate when you know full well poster A is going to disagree with poster B automatically. It just becomes pointless. We all know politicians from opposing parties will argue the toss, whether they know the other guy is right or wrong. Members of opposing parties will debate an issue or a policy and with unnerving skill, find some way of arguing a ****ing blindingly clear truth. High end debating isn't an admirable quality in my book though. It's ****ing boring and only lends itself to endless dead ends, never any solutions, never any compromise. I just think we could do better. Just saying...
