Suppose we'll here his side of the story soon but for me it just looks awful. Sat there guzzling food and drink telling folk how to abuse the system. And why - to pocket another obscene amount of money on top of his obscene £3million annual salary. It stinks.
I despair of the England fiasco - I really do. I don't know who are worst; the clueless farts of the FA who do the appointing - or the idiots they appoint.
Surely it was only a matter of time before something like this happened and you only have to look at the freefall in due diligence to see the cause. The money being thrown around the world of football is obscene and when you throw corruption in to the mix you have the perfect recipe for disaster. Greed is insipid and when the manager of the national team is involved then you know the final outcome. Is anyone in England listening to the vibes coming down the pipe or are their rear ends plugged with their own self worth? Congratulations on voting for the E.U. exit but now you need to stand up and save the sport that has always been our heritage from the interlopers invading our football stadia.
Did he last more games (game!) than Copp-out - I really can't remember!? Might be a good pub-quiz question in the future. I still find it incredible that people like him think it acceptable to attempt to flout the rules as they want to!! I know the money's there but that was supposedly his "dream" job - more like a ****ing nightmare as usual!!
When the other managers are named I have a sneaking suspicion one name may be very familiar to us all!
Sacking was the only real decision.. it would have gone on in the media for months until it was untenable!
Would anybody want the poisoned chalice England as a football team are so poor. And why because the prem is saturated with overseas players. We have sacrificed our national team.
If further proof was actually needed that money and corruption has ruined football this is the latest in a long line of growing embarrassments. With this trend has also appeared ever growing greed, a sense of being bullet proof whether it's fraudulently accepting money, beating/raping the opposite sex, dangerous/drunken driving, bad behaviour, and still the expectation is that the world owes these filthy wasters a living. It doesn't. Even so it's reported that big Fat Cheating Sam has walked away with a £1m in his pocket. Where is the deterrent ? What lesson does it teach the impressionable ? It tells them to do what you like, as you'll get away with it aside from maybe a bit of negative PR.
Is anyone really that surprised though? Both him and Harry 'bung' Redknapp have long been linked with murky dealings. I was very surprised when the FA appointed him tbh. Wonder if the same old names will be trooted out as his replacement....
