Not different but just an astonishing coincidence. I was on Thetis Island, a 5 sq mile bit of land in between Vancouver Island and mainland Canada. It was at the island's Xmas Craft Fair where I heard an elderly lady speaking in a completely unmistakable accent. Sure enough she was from Hull, and what's more she was born about 200 yds from where I was brought up in Boulevard. You couldn't write it. Not a Tigers supporter though
My niece and two friends were on a year out trip round the world and they saw loads of lads in City shirts everywhere. They made a point of chatting to City fans because they were always so helpful in telling them where to go or not to etc. Hull folk stick together.
