Can't see the photos unfortunately and there was nothing in the press about it.

Must be the Timmy Mhedia covering up for us again.

For all you know the sun picture they use could be in reference to the dawn of a new era brought to the club by lennon - and had nothing to do with the IRA at all - merely a coincidence

Much like the red hand of ulster salute used by rangers fans has nothing to do with Nazi's

Your right, hear say and rumours from over a decade ago us nothing compared to what happened on Saturday.

Yeah a coincidence the green brigade sing IRA songs and this flag is used for a card display.

coincidence wouldnt fit your agenda though would it? Your "Friend Friend" told you about it so you went and looked it up - then went to the trouble of looking up a picture of an IRA flag and went to the trouble of telling us what i meant.

My guess is im not far off with what i think the flag means - dawn of a new era - as in the ira used it in reference to a new generation and maybe the green brigade have decided the like that idea and use it too - doesnt mean they categorically support the IRA youth

Plus the IRA they sing about are not the IRA you relate the flag to

How many excuses can you fit into 1 reply.

So again it's a coincidence that the folk who sing about IRA at Celtic games are the same ones that hold up a card display showing a flag used by IRA youth. Wind your neck in pal.

BYOB, is in reference to the IRA from what the 1920s that murdered scores of Protestants and drove 1000s out of the Republic. As for the simple Oh ah up the RA. Neither you nor I can determine if it's in reference to the older extinct versions or the modern day Real or Continuity IRA.

Either or, stop making excuses and cut this garbage out.

Really? How can someone not into the whole 'Irish thang' know how the yahoos differentiate?

And after the killing of the squaddies a few years back, what was the whole pizza box thing? Which IRA was that in honour of?

Really??? News to me that is.

So the UVF band you posted a video off on here (and provided a history lesson on whilst posting it) is not distinguishable from the more modern day UVF???

Thought it might be. Go and read about the Protestant murders of Cork for example.

The UVF in the 1920s fought in WW1 and have nothing to do with the UVF of modern day.

Yeah it looks like those ten men in cork were "terrorists" working against the Irish Republic

    See what I did there...
