I went to St James to watch Ed Sheeran, does that get me an instant ban from here?

Great songwriter my arse. Even on his ' best songs' the lyrics are puerile and so obviously cobbled in just because they rhyme.

Not only that they're written by a bloody committee <laugh>

    Shape of You
    Song by Ed Sheeran

Songwriters: John McDaid / Steve Mac / Edward Christopher Sheeran / Kandi L. Burruss / Kevin Jerome Briggs / Tameka D. Cottle

"I'm in love with the shape of you
We push and pull like a magnet do
Although my heart is falling too
I'm in love with your body
And last night you were in my room
And now my bedsheets smell like you."

So beautiful, thoughtful and deep. It's the bedsheets line that's the killer. Gets me every time. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Went there and saw the Stones in the 80's
Been a few times since but only to watch the lads
The walk up from the station is always a laugh the tough guy's always having a go but as soon anyone goes to them they run back into the pub

Not my cup of tea, but it's a massive deal for the city. A bit of a coup.

The more pop stars we have who don't fit the X Factor mould the better.

Big booking for the city. Think there is 1 more to come too. Hopefully it's someone more to my personal taste.

I’m going to see a tribute to ELO at the empire in November. Can’t get to see the real one but these lads are excellent apparently so looking forward to it

There are some really good tribute bands knocking around. I saw Pearl Jam one in Ashton end of 2019. Have a load of drink and there isnt much difference. Really enjoyed it.

Seen some amazing tribute acts. The ones that tour are generally absolutely brilliant.
