What sort of wages is McShane on?
We can probably afford 2 or 3 if he is on anything around £20k, and still have spare to fill the Team bus up for our all away games!!! (And get the squad a big Mac, and a McFlurry [if they win])

"But then when I came back from injury I wasn't in the manager's plans for whatever reason". His name is Liam Rosenior and he looks more than capable in both halves of the pitch. McShane works hard and is the type of player who'll put his body on the line but he turns me to a nervous wreck, especially when at centre back.

Speaking of transfers Sky are saying we have a German keeper on trial, another try before you buy.

Maybe pearson already knows that we won't be able to sign Vito or Guzan so is already looking around for a keeper

Bizarrely, McShane is our best paid player after Bullard, he's apparently on £24k a week(with two seasons remaining).

If there's a deal to be done, then I'm sure we'll do it.

That kraut keeper is 28 and has never played at a decent level, it seems an odd one.

Just been looking at a video of the keeper on youtube. Seems confident at coming for the ball in the air and at the feet of attacking players, but there are a few dodgy looking parries. A couple of decent saves in it but alot of routine ones. Youtube can be deceiving though when it comes to footballers.

So, £24k a week, hmmmm, by my calculations we can scrub Maccy Dees, and, get them pie and peas, and a can of Tizzer, each, then!

That keeper looks half decent in those clips, but then YouTube is not to be trusted in such matters................

I wouldn't have said the 2.Bundesliga was a poor league, OLM, it's the equivalent of our Championship and at 28 he has a fair few years ahead of him in terms of a goalkeeper. But you are right about Youtube, it can be very decieving, just look at Altidore.
