No real idea about where they are right now finacially, but take away the 12 point deduction and it could become more attractive to a number of struggling clubs - and yes, it could well be history repeating itself.

Also very unfair on any clubs complying with the rules.

A charter for cheats and thieves.

Nothing will surprise me but if they lose the appeal it should be increased.

have they changed the rules recently? If I remember right, when we were in admin a few years ago, we had -12 and I don't think there was any bartering over it,
otherwise SISU would have been in court again. How has Covid had such an impact on WRDC, yet all other Clubs have remained solvent(just) and functioning, I call B/S on it, and it's just deflection away from the truth, which is Morris screwed them over properly and they have just got to suck it up. Bunch of whinging fannies.

    Spot on Robbie.
The EFL is so inconsistant with it's decisions. I know Derby are founder members of the FL but so are Notts County and they seemed ready to let them go to the wall until a supporters trust had to rescue them. At the moment, Derby have two divisions between them and Notts County and even if justice was administered for each of the seaons in which they were "creative" with the accountancy, they still wouldn't slide down to the National League. In my eyes, the administrators should have no trouble in selling the club given their large, dyed in the wool fanbase, so regardless of what division they are in, Derby are still a viable prospect. The way the EFL put in rules and then ignore them under pressure is Johnsonesque.

According to the Telegraph, Derby are about to accept a further 9 point deduction.

I think that they need to put this matter to rest for the sake of their supporters alone. They're not a bad club and one dodgy decision treated their reputation with the City but any club could find themselves in a similar situation with a little mismanagement.

No argument as far as their supporters are concerned but the owners were clearly bent and undertook a series of financial mismanagement actions which benefitted Direby, to the detrememt of other clubs.

The additional 9 point penalty should ensure their relegation and they can go again next season in Div 1.

Anyone know whether Reading have definitely been deducted points as the table still has them on 22 points?

From everything I've read from different sources it's still being talked about as a likelihood.
That said, I haven't read anything today.

The worrying thing is, without those 21 points deducted, they'd be above us in the table - and they're rubbish on the pitch as well as off it.

Again the fans suffer. Ram fans are just like us, living and breathing football and looking forward to Saturday.
