****ing Scum. our Police are sitting ducks. mid send in the army with rubber bullets to the scum attacking the boys and girls in blue.
the clowns who think the vaccine is full of tracking technology... but forget they all carry a smartphone
Are they the same people that don't think the virus is real? I don't really follow idiots (apart from Bruce) so it's difficult to keep up
I fully support peoples right to decide what goes in their body. I fully support the notion we shouldn't be divided by decisions we make about taking vaccines. I fully support the notion that there should not be vaccine passports, people shouldn't be prevented from travel/concerts etc whether they've had the vaccine or not. They are admirable causes. I don't understand why they are protesting though? The vaccine is optional, the government have only offered it to people. You just say no thanks mate if you don't want it. Its not mandatory. So you take it if you want it, you don't if you don't. There is literally no reason at all to protest. Which means anyone hurt in the course of the protest, has been hurt needlessly by the actions of a bunch of Karens/professional protesters/nutcases. Therefore shooting them seems an appropriate course of action
It just boggles the mind. We are reopening, with the vast majority of our life back to some degree of normal in only a handful of weeks. You compare to India that did reopen a bit quickly, without am effective Vaccine rollout in place, or resilient enough health infrastructure and they're posting 200k cases a day. Scary. There's no political support for the anti vaxxers and they're just the type of selfish b-ends who make things worse for everyone else.
Do you think people have the right to spread a deadly disease? It's your right to drink alcohol if you want. You decide what goes into your body. But it's also the government's right to stop you driving a car if you have made that decision. Because at that point your freedom of choice impacts on the safety of others. Same applies to the vaccine. Don't take it by all means. But you shouldn't be allowed on any public transport. In any licensed venue. Or receive any publicly funded healthcare. You have the freedom to make your choice. But that choice comes with consequences for others, so it must also come with consequences for you.
These people are Facebook ‘educated’ conspiracy theory bobble heads. These are the same people who cried their eyes out about being told to wear a mask in a shop, tried denying COVID was anything more than the flu, laughed off the idea of a second wave, tried making out the death figures were somehow fake, and are basically a set of ****ing twats.
Presently we don't know if the vaccines prevent the spread of the virus. They are still learning about this. Hence regardless if you've had the vaccine you are still being asked to follow the rules around social distancing, hand washing etc. So at this stage, that's not a reason.
Here in Turkey we are going full lockdown from Thursday for 3 weeks, no work, schools or shops or anything!!! Bollocks!!! Could see it happening weeks ago, fewer masks, cafes reopened and social distancing out the window. Selfish ****ers!
Unfortunately this is a classic misunderstanding. It is highly likely that the vaccines reduce the likelihood of spread. It is also not certain that they eliminate it completely. That is not the same as saying 'we don't know anything at all, therefore vaccination status is irrelevant to risk.' Therefore it makes sense to *both* ask vaccinated people to continue to follow the rules for the time being *and* exclude non-vaccinated people from public spaces in future (once everyone has been offered a vaccine).
No misunderstanding on my part. Its very clear. Unfortunately I think this is the classic mistake people make with their judgements on whether people should be vaccinated to travel etc. They jump the gun. The official line at present is they are not in a position to make that judgement as they are still learning about this. They clearly state this is one of the reasons vaccinated people are asked to follow the rules. There is some info from the monitoring taking place that suggest it might, but its likely to be a while before they can draw firm conclusions. I think this thinking that it does stop/reduce the spread is just an unfortunate bi product of the reporting via news sources. "Possible" or "Highly Likely" become "It will" in peoples mind because of how its reported. Once they know for certain they will be able to make informed judgements on whether the vaccine passports etc are necessary. The passports are nothing new, at various stages throughout time various countries have required proof of vaccination. We just aren't at that stage yet because they don't know if they are necessary. I don't agree with making statements like "do you think its ok to spread a deadly virus", it highlights the divisive attitudes I'm talking about.
It was nailed on mate. Over 60,000 was the tipping point (plus the ones not counted lol). Hope it works as I have 3 trips planned.
