If a team lose every game 3-1 and then win 1-0, what score will the next game be to maintain their average score?

It was so obvious how did we not work it out?

I'm not a maths teacher, but I'm quite good with numbers. What are you on about?

1-3. 1-3. 1-3, 1-0 - to keep the 1-3 average we had to lose 6-1 in the last game.

We can go back to the normal 1-3 on Saturday.

I thought you'd say that, but it's not every game is it?

    Sorry, I'm a pedant.

Ok, not every game. The one before was 0-3

All you had to say was 'if a team loses three games 3-1....'

    Sorry, I'm a pedant.
