Do yous think our business is done now with these new signings or is Bruce gonna strengthen RB and ST positions?

We have some players we need to ship out too. I’d be tempted to pay up their contracts for a clean break.

True - probably depends on outgoings too - free up cash, wages etc

 

I think until we ship out the likes of Colback, Lazaar, Saivet and either use or lose Gayle, Clark, Murphy and Aarons it's unrealistic to expect us to just keep signing players. There's a few others who fell out of favour last season (like Shelvey) and when you total up their wages and values it's a lot of money. At some point we need to accept that we need to offload to be able to bring in, not just for immediate money but also as the value of some of these are going to plummet if we have to exclude them from our registered squad.

I'd love a quality CM if I was told we could have one more player but if we don't get anyone else I think we've had a good window. Obviously my opinion will change in a month or two once I've seen where we are in the table and I reserve the right to contradict all of the above and claim I knew it was a problem.

Ideally we'd have signed a holding midfielder and another striker, as well as shipping out a load. I think we will ship quite a few or at least we should as we've got too many, and too much deadwood.
