Hahahahaha So you can only be a wind-up merchant if you are an established idiot? Sorry I didn't get a copy of the official Fifa guidelines on wummery...
That's how ignorant Liverpool wums are, Newcastle fan idiot! Since when is saying "I'm not a wum, but all your players will leave" factual. You are hilarious to me
steady on , they beat Cardiff city in just under 6 hours and 41 penalties. And he DOES have an Andy Carroll avatar. ooo ...classy..................
He's a Newcastle fan but if you ever feel like sharing some of these factual arguments with us then that's just fine
Can you not at least wait til you've signed a decent finisher and a few midfielders? "Hiding to nothing" comes to mind when you've just had your worst league season for several years! (though I'd take a trophy, granted)
Personally I see it as a statement of intent. Arry was unprofessional, to say the least, with his comments about the England job, and failing to secure champions league is seen as failure. The bar is set, so it'll be interesting to see who Spurs sign. As a neutral, I hope they bring in someone who'll continue Spurs tradition of attractive football!
It's certainly going to be interesting. I still see it as a surprise that he wasn't given another year to get us back into the CL and suspect that there's a lot more gone on here than we currently know. Perhaps there is a big investment in the squad planned and Levy didn't see 'Arry as the right man to oversee it. I suspect 'Arry might have done something monumentally stupid to get Levy to force him out though.
His next stint in the Euro's pundit seat should make for a bit of TV!, anyone know when he's due on next?
Very astute YV, I don't think you're far out at all, Harry shoud be on holiday considering the 6months he's had, but he's still shooting off at the jaw.
'Arry has left you in the proverbial! Whoever takes over is not only going to have to fight to retain players this Summer but even if that proves possible to try and keep those who stay happy. If I were Davy Moyes, I'd think long and hard before I even accepted a call from Spurs.
What are you on about? Levy is the one that will deal with any "fight to retain players" and Moyes loses a player or two that he wants to keep in most transfer windows so why would that concern him? The Liverpool job seems like a far more difficult job since you're packed to the rafters with average players that you can't sell and have little money yet expect to improve year on year. Rodgers even turned you down first time too.
He should have been allowed another year and i really can't see how this is a positive move, especially as only in February he was seen as the best manager in the country. now clearly he wasn't but the jump from being on such a high to getting the sack is pretty severe. I don't like how each time there is a chance for stability we look for "something new" and them famous words "take us to the next level" as who is out there? there really isn't much to improve and whoever comes in will want to build his own team and its going to mean taking a backwards step.
