I like Shola, he's always frustrated fans but I think in the end he does love the club and the area. But that's not enough for me, not in our situation. We need a manager with some experience and who wants to play a new style of football from day one, Shola will need time to figure out what he's doing and then might still not be much as a manager. Howe is by far the best choice for us as we stand, especially if its only til the end of the season. But I would honestly take almost anyone with some managerial experience and a bit of a clue right now. I'm not at all happy with the idea, but atleast Hughes did a good job at Stoke, Blackburn and Wales. it's better than nothing, and that's what we have right now.
Whilst Shola has no managerial experience he's a bright lad. I'd take him over Bruce any day of the week, that said I'd be surprised if he did take over
Hilarious that this ties in with Windys rumour of a “club legend” recently getting coaching badges!!! He’s gotta be better than Bruce. But there’s a decent chance he’s ****. However it would at least be positive from a takeover standpoint.
A whiff of the Shearer debacle if true about this, can't see it tbh there's enough games left so need someone who knows what they are doing.
Been busy tonight. Could you inform me of the Sunderland score at home to Plymouth? Surely a banker for your lot? Plymouth
