It clearly hasn't caught on! I've no doubt though if you were to meet him in person he would resemble that character from "Kelly's Heroes"!
Funny that, I can't remember Sean Wright Phillips, Joey Barton, Armand Traore, Anton Ferdinand etc playing at Scun*horpe and Doncaster last season. Silly me, they mustn't have been able to get in the team.
I thought we had a mass debate whereupon I was in the minority as most people where slagging off the players . Also SWP is in fact Hogan and Barton is in fact ORR while Taarabt doubles with Traore it's the same team ... No doubles for Mackie because of the teeth while Derry is also himself at 54 they couldn't get the skin match ****tu doubles for Gabbidon and Dave is in fact Anton It's all smoke and mirrors
Col,you know my feelings towards Faurlin but I did think he had a decent game on saturday against Stoke.
You're right Col, as long as we get a quality replacement, I don't mind. But that's the case with pretty much all the players in this league, they come and go. In the lower leagues you worry about players going cos you can't guarantee a decent replacement. Much less likely now. With all the hype Ali should fetch a decent price. You're all right though, Warnock won't sell... till the offer is high enough.
And that's the key. Guys get worried when our players are linked with moves but its really a good sign. Only good teams have players linked with top sides! And when players go we can bring in quality to replace them. Its all good!
The transfer fee banded about for Tarrabt is somewhere between £15 and £20 mill..........I would rather spend hat on Faulin (if I were interesed in buying him). If Rasenal or spurs want him, then any deal would have to include Wiltshire / RVP / Modric / Defeo or Kyle Walker coming to LR along with £10 mill in cash
