So, Wednesday 29th May Arsenal will meet Chelsea in Baku. Billed as the ‘Battle of London’. Who will win? Arsenal previous winners of the Inter Cities Fairs Cup 1969/70 & the UEFA Cup Winners Cup 1993/4 will be looking for their third success. Chelsea being only one of four teams and first in England to win all three major UEFA trophies. European Cup Winners Cup 1970/1: UEFA Cup Winners Cup 1997/8: UEFA Super Cup 1998/9 : UEFA Champions League 2011/12: UEFA Europa League 2012/13.
I will be supporting Chelsea in the final - Arsenal fans pissed me off over the treatment of Wenger and I've still not forgotten that. Liverpool for the other final, unless Spurs play Gazzaniga and he saves a penalty to help them win
Don't forget your half n half shirts for this sausage fest in Tim Baku tuku the capital of Wakanda guise Tottenham Hotspur Uniting the rest of London
Watching Tottenham on a Wednesday night You play Thursday coz you're ****in ****e Ohhhh What a feeling What a night
Treatment of Wenger? **** you on about? Most gooners tolerated the long decline he engineered, out of respect for what he had achieved in his early days there. The majority of them refused to turn on him, even when it was obvious he was taking them backwards.
This is the big problem with you Prem supporters, always the glory. You might have been in L1 but clearly learned shhite while down there. So you wouldn't have swapped places with Arsenal under Wenger?
Eh? Do you think most Arsenal fans aspire to swap places with Southampton? You’re not making any sense, as usual.
I didn't say Arsenal I said YOU...learn to fooking read! So tell me what was wrong with Arsenal under Wenger when you look at his stats; https://www.premierleague.com/clubs/1/Arsenal/season-history Never lower than 6th, generally 4th or above ie Champions. You could claim it was a decline in the last couple of seasons which is fooking laughable, unless your an armchair fan, but he was never going to keep up with the spending at Man City and Chelsea as way of example.
Like a half n half scarf, loads of fans buy them as souvenirs of European football matches. Spuds don’t have many.
I never saw a half n half shirt before. I bought a Saints/Inter scarf in Milan, but gave it away to my mate’s 9 year old boy. Kinda wish I’d kept it.
I guess it’s all about perception, being in or around the top four for so long like Arsenal the expectation was always there. For many other clubs the expectations are all about surviving or a decent cup run. What I have noticed among the top six is contempt for anything less than a title shot or a European spot. ****er.
