29/03/2016 : Remi Garde has left Aston Villa, this is the AVFC website statement :

Manager, Rémi Garde, has today left Aston Villa Football Club by mutual consent.
The Club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Rémi for all his efforts during a difficult period and wish him well in the future.
Eric Black will take over as acting manager until the Club appoints a new manager.
There will be no further comment from the Club at this stage.

That is nothing more or less than what is to be expected in these situations.

 

No one could save your sad little club from the drop at this point.

TBH I'd rather Villa stay up than Norwich, Sunderland and Newcastle - not as far from Swansea (if we beat the drop)

Despite this result AVFC are not mathematically down today as Norwich also lost.

Larry has to be the top poster on here. The **** Villa have been through this year and he is still posting. Top bloke.

 

Yeah Larry is a good lad, he's been invited to our board so that there is more interaction for him but I think he likes the solitude.

 

He'll probably be able to get a whole stand to himself next season, if it makes him feel any better.

Nothing game really for Villa, any win today would have simply delayed the inevitable. They did seem to play with a bit more pride today tbf. Good luck next season
