    Sod's Law ! ... I predict 3-1 and we get my regular 2-1 ... but no complaints, it is the win that counts. This result lifts AVFC to 4th, with 32 points and GD +9 from 18 games.

    EFL1 (Championship), Saturday 25/11/2017 : Aston Villa 2-0 Ipswich Town

    I was thinking of Waghorn and Garner today - Garner had the ball in our net but it was ruled out for a foul on goalkeeper Johnstone. A brace from 'Uncle Albert' won it for AVFC, it was an excellent long pass from Snodgrass to set-up Adomah's second goal.
    AVFC remain 4th as the other top 6 teams also won today. * Finally, the stream was duff, I was surprised it was there at all.

    Attendance : 30,427 (SSN)

    This game will be a real test of whether Villa (or Leeds, for that matter), really have it in them to get promotion this Season, Eric. The performances will be the thing to judge the teams by, as the result could go either way, or be a draw.

    02/12/2017 : A decent result which sees AVFC stay 4th with 36 points and GD +11 from 20 games. Only Bristol City can go above AVFC and only if they win their game against Middlesbrough today.

    03/12/2017 : Bristol City beat Middlesbrough in the late game, so Villa are now 5th in the table. Only Derby can go above us and AVFC will go 3rd if the results go in our favour next weekend.

    Friday 8th December
    Sheffield United v Bristol City - Draw

    Saturday 9th December
    Aston Villa v Millwall - AVFC Win
    Barnsley v Derby County - Derby can only overtake AVFC if they win and we lose.
