The stream was duff and I am glad to say I saved £10 by not bothering with AVTV. I have seen the clip on SSN and must ask : When are we going to see goals from open play rather than from set pieces ?
Pending the results of the games tomorrow AVFC rose from 13th to 11th off this result tonight, with 14 points and GD +1 from 10 games.

29/09/2018 : After the games today AVFC are 15th with 14 points, one place and 4 points ahead of BCFC. Our next opponents Preston are bottom of the table and the Albion, who won at Preston, are top. Radical improvements are required, AVFC being in this situation is unacceptable.

A neutral would have enjoyed this match, but I am not neutral !!! ... The 2-0 HT lead could have been more if AVFC had attacked throughout, but once again there was square and back passing. The 2nd half red card and penalty turned the match, putting Preston in the ascendant, assisted by the free-kick and then the corner to put them ahead. Fortunately Bolasie scored our equaliser from our late corner and finally Whelan had his on target penalty saved ... not 'missed'.
The question I ask is this ... do we have a game plan for dealing with playing when down to 10 men ... I think not.
After this result AVFC are 12th, pending the results of the games tomorrow night.

We will be able to undergo more of this at Millwall on Saturday, as that match will also be broadcast live on AVTV.

 

You seem to be the only one on here Larry-AV so I'm going to have to direct this at you so apologies from me as I'm sure it wasn't you wot done the deed. The Villa fans have a bleddy cheek. Throwing a cabbage at your manager is just not on. We are the greens not you.
