Original script : 03/10/2018 : In total contrast to last Season, when the game at Millwall was the unimportant prelude to more important matters, this match has become the indicator of whether AVFC under SB will be returning to those more important matters ! New script : The chance for KMac to reach par ... Pld 7 = Pts2 7 ... go for it with a 5 goal win, to level the GD ! 03/10/2018 Pld W D L F A GD PTS Pos Pts 2 Season Aston Villa 6 2 1 3 7 12 -5 7 20 5 MacDonald My AVF prediction, made today : Millwall 2-2 Aston Villa Being realistic. Steve Bruce's League record at AVFC ... I thank him for his efforts, but he ran out of ideas. Only McAllister (5 games) and MON (152 games) have has a better records than SB. All the rest, apart from MON, are negative throughout, including Kevin MacDonald. 03/10/2018 Pld W D L F A GD PTS Pos Pts 2 Pts 3 pg Pts 2 pg Bruce 92 42 24 26 128 96 32 150 30 108 1.6304 1.1739

EFL1 (Championship), Saturday 20/10/2018 : Aston Villa v Swansea City, KO 15:00 hours. 17/10/2018 : My ticket arrived yesterday, looking forward to an open game of football and hopefully a correct prediction. please log in to view this image My AVF prediction, made today : Aston Villa 3-2 Swansea City
EFL1 (Championship), Saturday 20/10/2018 : Aston Villa 1-0 Swansea City That was a good start from an open positive display by AVFC, assisted by the positive open play of Swansea. I was expecting AVFC to score more than the one goal throughout the game. We had several chances and to be fair, Swansea had their chances too. Nevertheless I would have been very disappointed if we had not won this game. My MOTM was John McGinn (apart from his 68th minute 'conversion' into the Holte End !), 'never stopped putting himself about', to borrow AVF Member Corny's accurate description of his play. Attendance : 41,326 (AVFC)
EFL1 (Championship), Tuesday 23/10/2018 : Norwich City v Aston Villa - KO 19:45 hours - SKY 22/10/2018 : Let us have more of Saturday's display from AVFC at Norwich tomorrow evening. please log in to view this image My AVF prediction, made today : Norwich City 1-2 Aston Villa
Looking forward to your visit tomorrow. We have improved dramatically this season and the influx of young players is working well. As my old dad was a Villa fan, still have a soft spot for you,but not tomorrow. My prediction NCFC win by 2 -1

EFL1 (Championship), Tuesday 23/10/2018 : Norwich City 2-1 Aston Villa From what I saw of the match (on-off stream), this is a setback which our play did not deserve. We will win more than we lose with the attacking style that DS has brought to AVFC. Attendance : 24,977 (SSN)
Just a quick observation on last nights game. I thought your No 4 was outstanding at the back. Grealish still flatters to decieve. He goes down to easily and his work rate is poor.If you can get £20 M + for him, unload and start building without him,as we have done after selling Maddison.Best of luck for remainder of the season
Cheers, Budgie. EFL1 (Championship), Friday 26/10/2018, KO 19:45 hours - SKY : Queens Park Rangers v Aston Villa 24/10/2018 : Dean Smith's 3rd match with Won one, Lost one ... Draw one ? Maybe, but I will go for my (default) win for AVFC on Friday. My AVF prediction, made today : Queens Park Rangers 1-2 Aston Villa

EFL1 (Championship), Friday 26/10/2018 : Queens Park Rangers 1-0 Aston Villa If this had been SB's team I would be worried, but I am not. This defeat was totally against the run of play. The lowest AVFC can drop to tomorrow is 18th. Attendance : 16,036 (SSN)
EFL1 (Championship), Friday 02/11/2018 : Aston Villa v Bolton Wanderers, KO 19:45 hours - SKY. 29/10/2018 : After the false start, which I blame on the disruption caused by the poxy international break, I trust DS to send out the team on the first of a winning run. My AVF prediction, made today : Aston Villa 3-1 Bolton Wanderers

EFL1 (Championship), Friday 02/11/2018 : Aston Villa 2-0 Bolton Wanderers The stream worked (!) and the play from AVFC was more like we expect from a DS side, attacking for most of the game and banishing the needless and negative square and back passing we had to endure under SB. I will see the next match (AVFC v BCFC) live as I got my ticket in Upper Trinity Row A at half time. The result tonight was well earned and lifts AVFC to 13th, pending the remaining games this weekend. Attendance : 30,802 (SSN)
EFL1 (Championship), Saturday 10/11/2018 : Derby County v Aston Villa, KO 15:00 hours. 05/11/2018 : I think this match will end up honours even, but naturally I am hoping for 3 points for AVFC. My AVF prediction, made today : Derby County 2-2 Aston Villa
EFL1 (Championship), Saturday 10/11/2018 : Derby County 0-3 Aston Villa An excellent result for AVFC today. Going by the reports and the clips I have seen, it was an impressive display of attacking football. Postive vibes all round. Attendance : 30,400 (SSN) After this result AVFC's total Form Points rose from 60 to 65 ... that is, points after 46 games. The maximum available is still 111 points, with 87 points left to play for. AVFC returned to above par and are 11th in the table, with 24 points and GD at +4 from 17 games.
