So we just have to hope Fabs is OK for Wembley and Kieta's testicles are back in their normal position and it should be a full squad. Will we start with Salah/Diaz/Mane. Salah has not been interested recently, but it is afinal so he may turn up. Clearly he is off in the summer, hopefully we get Nunes or similar. Hope Mane stays.
Might be wrong but do feel we aren’t as great pressing from the front. For all Mane and Jota’s strengths, they don’t seem to have the positioning and ability to start things in same way Firmino does and makes us a bit easier to play through
I would have thought if Salah doesn’t sign We will keep him and get everything we can out of him next season. he may even change his mind next season
Rough game that. Had to dig in big time got get something... Fair play to klopp, he won't let these boys give up easy.. Never sat down all game hollering advice at everyone. Hendo changed the game. Hope fab is OK, looked like a hammy so 2 weeks? Dunno why we started jota left and Diaz right, it just didn't work Pressure kept on city Hope for a miracle
Diaz is such an impressive player in his position, has everything you could want really, pacey, skilful and quite classy but with street smarts, committed and a tireless worker, also a goal scorer. Brilliant signing and a bargain at the price
Temptation would be to cash in and reinvest. FSG have shown that if a player doesn't match their valuation (or contact length) they're happy to take the money or not pay out.
Dare I say Luis Suarez without the fangs or is that too much too soon? Signing of the season. And signed in January, says it all.
And this has to happen if that is the scenario were looking at with Mo. Dont let any player hold us to ransom should be a club policy imho. There has to be a deadline that the club then says okay enough is enough, you want too much so we're selling you. Take the 100/150m and let Salah prove how good he is without klopp and Liverpool. Good luck wid dat bro
Don't want to be taken advantage of, but at the same time don't want clubs to think of us as merely stepping stones to use to get to richer pastures. We want to be the peak club of a player's career.
He's retiring at the end of the season isn't he? Good job - it's high time we were relieved of watching him lumbering up and down the middle of the park throughout a game.
There aren't many teams who could legitimately claim to be a step up atm - but there are a few who will pay silly money.
