Sorel generated scandal at court, particularly for popularizing the fashion of low-cut gowns. This behavior was both imitated and scorned. Jean Juvénal des Ursins, the archbishop of Reims, counseled the king to correct such fashions as "front openings through which one sees the teats, nipples, and breasts of women" (ouvertures de par devant, par lesquelles on voit les tetins, tettes et seing des femmes).[5] sounds like she might have been murdered by mercury poisoning
I really don’t get BrewDog. I’m not a fan of over flavoured over strength over priced ‘craft’ beers though I don’t begrudge them to those who do like them, but in my experience the authentic stuff is found in the US if you want that kind of thing, and is often available here, from genuine small breweries, cheaper than Brewdog’s mass produced stuff (it has to be mass produced to get into every supermarket). BrewDog with its ever growing chain of pubs, huge brewing volume, and outrageous marketing seems to be just like the old style mega breweries now, and by crowing about how rich they are the founders seem to be confirming this. Good luck to them, but they ain’t punks in my book.
I agree, it's not "true" craft beer, and it's definately over-priced. I generally don't buy it as there's plenty of other brands that I like, but some of their flavours are quite tasty. I was given three packs of Brew Dog as gifts this weekend, so obviously had to sample them all!
All craft beer is overpriced Why else would it always cost me more to buy six bottles of craft beer than it would cost to buy a dozen mass produced beer
