I have always been convinced (well since I was about 30) that the brain contained a processor of an advanced computer, with exceedingly fast data access and memory (limbs being peripherals), powered by an engine known as the heart. As such, if one could find an API to plug into, it would be possible to download info from the the brain and, just as importantly, upload data to it. I have also believed it possible to record dreams Now this article doesn't mention anything about the recording of dreams but it advances my general belief considerably An article worth a read I think
It's actually limited if it's only linking to the brain of the host animal. There's some really interesting experiments where they change various microbes in animals, such as the gut bugs in rats, and it has a dramatic effect on their personality and behaviour. The basic thinking is that as the bulk of the cells in our body are actually non-human, it is them that drive aspects of behaviour. They hypothesise that the bugs cause us to act in ways that are best for the survival of the bug species, rather than our own.
Just had a thought. When the battery goes flat in the computer it shuts down, unless it is plugged in. But it can be restarted by re-charging. When a heart stops working they try to resuscitate. Maybe by switching it with something that can perform the same function and "re-booting" the brain that will enable life to continue
The billionaire scum who are enacting the current omni-shambles to everyone's detriment, but their own, are already way ahead of you @Ron First they will use the augmentation technology on the plebs. It's for the greater good though
Another at last, but a very unwelcome one, is the linking up of Russia, China and Iran (with China obviously pulling N Korea's strings). That would be very difficult to withstand if it came to it. Difficult to see either side, Russia or US, backing down. More of a concern than Covid I think.
Russia and China line up against U.S. in "no limits" partnership MOSCOW (Reuters) - China and Russia proclaimed a deep strategic partnership on Friday to balance what they portrayed as the malign global influence of the United States Jonathan Eyal of the London-based RUSI think tank said the declaration marked a "frontal rebuttal" of the U.S. and Western view of the world and a possible building block towards a military alliance between Russia and China. "It's the most explicit articulation of the 'making the world safe for dictatorship' strategy," he said. "It is a historic point because they both feel cornered and they feel their moment has arrived to state their vision of the world and promote it aggressively." If I could find it, I would have revived the How Long Before WW3 thread
Vietnam Afghanistan Iraq & Syria turned out well for the Yanks . This 24/7 hype from MSM is just a distraction.
A bit different to Russia + China + North Korea. Not so confident about this one. If Russia takes Ukraine and China takes Taiwan, could be nasty as it will either be WW3 or US backs down and allows Russia and Co to take more of Europe. Plus China now backing Argentina over Falklands It will get very ugly
