The two positives worth mentioning in that game were the full-backs.

Shaw and especially Wan Bissaka were brilliant. Both fought for everything, gave 110% and were very good going forward. They deserve that result.

And Bailly as well.

Sancho and van de Beek should both have been given half an hour there, not five minutes.
I fail to see what bringing Matic on achieved for instance, that's when van de Beek should get a run.

Second half was chaotic really.

First half was fine, keeper mistake then Varane being injured created a clever substitution in reverting back to a back four. We looked in ok shape.

Second half was ****e, we got away with it.

As Scholes said, Pep (was Klopp last time) will be watching that with nothing to fear.

 

I haven't seen a replay for the 2nd goal so I reserve judgement. He probably saved at least 3 others though
