http://bristolcitysupporters.org/minutes-september-2015/ Don't understand why they are in the position they are anyway. If you let fans out together as they are now right next door to each other its obvious there will be problems.
SC said he wanted home fans by the tunnel. Club gave in, despite it being obvious that it was a stupid idea.
If City fans were move across a point made on Otib is that they could then use the Dolman concourse. If its big enough?
It's definitely not big enough, the queues down there are a nightmare. They should make it like other venues food and soft drinks one counter and alcohol another. I know if someone wants pie and pint it's a pain but there wasn't much issue in the old dolman bar. But now it's rammed trying to get stuff and then have a piss.
It would make it easier for this season but would require a substantial amount of work for mid season
agreed, the queues have to seen to be believed - many (including us) have stopped having a half-time Beer - the club must be losing out on a fortune!
I would be very surprised if sales had dropped but like yourself I have ceased buying anything. Increased sales don't necessarily equal good service. Queuing for a pint takes far too long meaning it has to be downed in minutes. The Dolman concourse is a cramped and underwhelming experience at present. It is hard to visualise how fans from the Atyeo also could be accommodated.
I just can't see how they are going to be housed in there, as you said I've also given up going down there at half time. It's just mayhem, plus I smoke one of those vapour cigarette's I'm surprised people actually smoke proper cigarettes outside now, the amount of people crammed into that alley way is unbelievable
http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/172419-are-the-atyeo-stand-home-fans-moving-again/ Its looking 99%
I moved from Dolman to South Stand after 4 games and think that the queuing is worse in the South. I dont bother getting a half time pint as I would miss 20mins of the second half. I think the reason why it is such a nightmare as it takes 2 members of staff to pour a cup of tea. Where is our half time app to pre order drinks. Even thought about taking a thermos, blimey I am getting old !
Looking forward to having them on the Dolman side to create more atmosphere in the Dolman maybe. But totally against them coming into the concourse not because I don't want to begrudge them, but I just can't see the room to accommodate them. It's a nightmare at the moment to the extent that I can't be arsed to move down there at half time, the queues are just ****e.
Its a nightmare just like trying to leave the stand at full time, they should have food stalls to the left of the turnstiles like their was at the Forest game
