A few of us post on stuff happening away from football and the cardiff city universe.
We read of sparkey's adventures in the far south east of the country in his X5 with his dogs.
Of the conflict in the brizzle household relating to cross border marriages and the fondness for Muff.
And me, I talk fishing, sheep and tractors. Sometimes, dont say it too loudly, I watch egg.
Just wondering what others get up to away from the beautiful game, that can be openly shared on a family forum?

Last week's exploits, apart from fishing in mid-wales, was a readiness check for the rams before they meet the ladies in a few weeks time. Fortunately, I didnt have to collect the samples.:emoticon-0107-sweat

    If only you knew.

But back on topic (sorry remote).
Other than talking b*ll*cks on here, I still manage to do a bit of home based admin work for a local charity and I'm studying (slowly) with OU.
Have a bit of interest in ceramics and ornithology too.

Probably. I shouldn't really have mentioned that I'd once worked there.
    Too late now though.

    Oh yes indeed.
I lived across the back gardens from her (no euphemism). I think most of Splott was in love with her.

Can we have some more member's personal deatails please?

For instance, is Hilts really Senna the Soothsayer in real life?

What I do know about members on here is that we are all varying degrees of old.
    Even the youngsters.
Brizzle might be the exception that proves the rule.

On a side note, I actually enjoy DIY - as long as I'm not coerced into it by other household members.

Hung a new garden gate/door over the weekend to shut off my back passage - cue retort. The original alleged "hardwood" door had rotted in just 6 years and was like papier mache - one big and expensive mistake. The replacement I've just hung is a simple frame, ledge and braced in softwood. Used the same 3 x 4" brass hinges and door furniture - the lot done for less than 100 quid which is less than a quarter of what the original crap cost.

Anyway, apart from a couple of coats of primer/undercoat that's my last job before I head for some more "ornithology" in deepest Bucks on friday. <ok>
