I guess this is a good loan, as we get into the backend of the season with fixtures coming twice a week the likes of Parker and maybe even O'Hara might not have the legs to last, and I doubt even Baird will be used in every game. But I guess the Derby game showed he could still do it. Wonder where SJ will fit him in, defensive midfield, not sure about rightback or centerback, not sure he was ever great with his heading ability.
Surprised to see Chris Baird on at half-time for Jamie O'Hara, but interesting to see him bossing the positioning of the defenders when we have the ball in midfield. A presence (and a present!)
Got a gob on him, that's for sure. And exactly what's needed; not only in organising others but keeping the concentration high. Like as well the way, if one of ours is in trouble, he's first there on the ref's shoulder; not arguing or stuff like that but letting his presence/support be known.
