Just done the introductory offer £5 10 beers but I'll cancel it before paying the full price, is way too expensive.
I've gone for light ales other than mixed as I don't drink much of the darker beers often. Good offer but after that it's too expensive.
****e mate. I had a box last summer that was ok to be fair but then I had a discount box pre Christmas that was all dodgy wheat and rice beers. They were minging most of them. The introductory box should be ok though.
You heard of Boss brewing @luvgonzo ? It's outside the Liberty and there's a shed of a tap room right there. It's not used much, went in last night and had a fine IPA at £3.50 a pint, which is a quid cheaper than the utter piss they paddle in the ground.
That's ok I do a lot of these offers and then bin them off, not many worth the money after the introduction.
I just use it for the dark beers/stouts, they do a good selection + they're harder to get in supermarkets.
My oldest robbed my beer fridge and he works in a pub part time so it's always filled with some good stuff he takes a bottle at the end of each shift.
Cocktails are rubbish, it's just a way of masking the taste of a bang average spirit. I'll do a rum or whiskey with coke as a mixer but that's it as far as cocktails go.
