Theres some decent ales if you look . Quite like Theakston Pale Ale. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Totally agree Toby Peroni is ****ing ****e overpriced normal lager but people fall for it !
Yeah, like when your in the pub and your mate goes Oh, thats a real good pint of Fosters or Carling. WTF !
Yeah mate he has good taste . Good thing with Trappist beer is they donate some profits to charity . It is rather strong though and you have to be careful and take it easy . I've been really drunk a couple of times around the Town centre .
@Commachio s pissed up attempted dis thread is gonna backfire when he gets a 20 pager talking about beer
So many bang average ones it puts me off looking, every American one I try is bloody lovely. There's a pub in my local town doing Brooklyn Defender on tap, great pint.
Mass produced lager is ****ing pish. I'm sat here looking at three slabs of free Stella I've never taken home as I know it's ****ing horrible. Currently constructing the new Corona line. FYI, production of Corona in Mexico stops next month. It will then be from right here in sunny Newport and will no doubt taste **** all like the proper stuff. Off French Alps this weekend, looking forward to trying some decent local beers ( and some utter ****ing ****e if last year's memory serves me well). This stuff was ok; https://www.brasserie-montblanc.com/
I hate these companies that brew in the UK. Most ridiculous one is Sam Adams, the UK stuff isn't even close to the taste of the American stuff.
I didnt know Samuel Adam's brewed here that surprising. On the bbc last night they where saying that more pubs are opening due to increase in Proper Ale .
I'll stick to proper Belgium then mate . I've tried some of the attempts at brewing Belgium style beers brewed here . Absolutely Rank bad .
No, seen them about though I'll give it a go and report back. This is now the official drinks thread.
I tried it on Saturday and quite liked it . Not to hoppy which suites me . Theres a nice beer shop in the city centre that sells lots of craft beers from all over . £10 a can some of them .
That's a daft price. Best ever pint while out at the pub? Mine was an Anchor Steam Beer in a bar in New York.
Never been to the States . Going on a 50th next year to Krakov . Apparently starting to get a decent few craft ales there . Anybody been ???
