Yes, remember it well, they barged their way down to the front just to give their own players a load of abuse. I can’t remember a time when I’ve seen players so incensed. I think we’d all gone there expecting a similar outcome to the 2008 game and came away very disappointed but most of us didn’t think it warranted abusing our own players.
Listened to LS's presser just now.. It's really fascinating when you hear what he's trying to say (as his English isn't always exactly right) and I feel like we are getting an insight into the mind of a coach - as Leonid is more of an emotional and expressive person than Silva (who never gave much away). We can understand why he wouldn't select Irvine after an international break and how he finds Kamil Grosicki (a very emotional player who feels better at the KC), he seems to have a great belief in Kevin Stewart - so we'll see if this is true - then why Ayna wasn't at his best vs Norwich - as he's a young player and his performance levels dip more than an experienced player. Leonid thinks we have a capable squad and needs them to come together, not be broken up in a transfer window (although the back story could be 'no cash in Jan'), who knows? Perhaps it's only now we'll see the real Slutsky team start to stand out in his image
There's been a ****truck load of change. Manager, backroom staff, players, playing style. It could still be a good long while yet before we see a team as he wants it. When the time comes I think we will be a force to be reckoned with, you can already see the quality in our play with the ball starting to blossom, it's when we've not got it that needs hard work.
Weren't the whole backroom staff & players brought in because they were all suited to Ehab’s secret Hull Tigers Footballing Philosophy? They should have all hit the ground running ... unless he kept them all on the outside of his secret philosophical circle too?
John pm'd me to tell me he had a "tingle in his conkers" regarding yesterdays result. Very similar to when a fir cone opens meaning good weather forecast.
