Green dragon beer festival Wymondham. Rammed as always. Fantastic ales and ciders. Just had Oakham Attila. Strong, but nice.
I went to a pub with a country and bluegrass band with a cider festival and thai street food. The food was good, the band were ok but played limited country and no bluegrass at a barely passable level. The cider was by all accounts warm but that's ok cause I was drinking revisionist stout which was yummy. What was the score today? Bah!
It was lovely thanks gandy - was VERY tempted to have a 2nd one, but decided to catch the bus instead. On a slightly different topic - great news for Norwich Pubs (The Murderers and The Cellar House- http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/norwich...finals-of-great-british-pubs-awards-1-5178424
Good man - it is a cracking beer and i know when I'm in a Wetherspoons' pub, I can ALWAYS get a decent !!!
I've just read the article Cromer and I HAVE to disagree. Quite regularly in the Bell, there isn't an IPA that I enjoy at £2.75 for 568ml, but I can GUARANTEE getting a 500ml bottle of Green Devil for a mere £2.99 or an extra 24p!!! NO CONTEST!!
I think I've died and gone to heaven - the Bell is selling Jaipur (5.9% ABV) for just over £2 a pint (CAMRA voucher and 7.5% off all prices!!!!)
Ghost Ship in cans on sale in Sydney. $50 a case (roughly 30 of the Guvnor's pounds). I've taken one for the team and tried a case to make sure they've travelled well. @zogean_king if you're interested it's Dan Murphy's.
