Oh no, he hasn't got dodgy eyes has he? Remember Mendy's eyes, now THEY were dodgy! But this is great news he looks the real deal and I'm very happy we've pulled it off. I hope the 2 year contract extension is at our decision rather than his or someone else might just be very happy to get a brilliant free transfer at the end of the season...
Pearson is obviously very impressed with what he's seen of this fella so far, let's pray he's impressed enough to stick him in ahead of Harper on Saturday. No? Thought not.

I'm looking forward to seeing Belaid play, would be great if he started on Saturday. I'm glad someone else brought up the issue of his eyes, comment by Febbos made me laugh!
I think I read the problem with his eyes is due to a Thyroid problem he had a couple of years ago. It can make one of his eyes seem to stare. He's not had the easiest of lives over the last few years, when you read his wiki.
Yes the poor chap has had a very bad 3 years. Lets hope he can settle down and be a good player for us.
I wish him all the best in his career for us. My father had a thyroid problem several years ago. At one stage when we didn't know what it was and he had lost so much weight, we thought he might die! Horrible time. Anyway, I wish Belaid all of the luck in the world (especially when playing for us!)
So what team would you like to see against QPR? Guzan Rosenior Chester Gerrard Dawson Belaid Koren Ashbee Devitt Fryatt Stewart The drama queens are good going forward but dodgy at the back, so we need to go out there with an attacking lineup...IMO
Guzan Rosenior Chester Gerrard Dawson Belaid(does he play on the right?) Koren Ashbee Stewart Fryatt Mclean Alternatively would really like to see stewart playing up top again but it doesn't seem likely with the options we have up fronw now
Anyone else feel a little dissapointed that Simpson got dropped just after finding his form? I mean obviously i would have dropped him too, given the new additions it was the obvious thing to do, but i liked the Simpson/Stewart partnership, and preferred Stewart up front where he was more effective.
